Well this morning with no delays for patco, new jersey transit, septa and amtrak. This morning thousands of students in the live will return to class just days after a fire destroyed dozens of school buses. Matt, whats the district doing to get the students to class today . Reporter well, tracy, the Parkland School district had to borrow buses from other School Districts that they had on loan that there were spare buses that they were able to bring up here so they would have enough to pick up all the students. And they brought those buses in so the kids can get back to school today. More than two dozen buses were destroyed or damaged early friday morning here. Those buses were housed in a garage just behind the Orfield Middle School where we are. Each one of the burned buses runs about 90,000. Classes did have to be canceled on friday because of that bus shortage. Some good news those classes are resuming this morning with the borrowed buses. And the cause of the fire is still under in

Now, we have a couple of advantage points to show you. First lets take to you a Traffic Camera provided by the Delaware Department of transportation showing in the back ground a smoking bus and those three dozen passengers stranded along the highway. Were told another driver was able to flag down the bus driver to alert him to the fire burning in the bus rear engine compartment. Now the incident closed the 495 northbound onramp to i95 for hours as natasha just said it just reopened a short time ago. Now, those who had to flee their smoke filled bus were taken here to the Pennsylvania Welcome Center in boothwyn. There were no injuries. They get here and they see fire coming out of the row engine compartment of the bus. Luckily all the occupants were able to get off the bus unassi unassisted so there were no injuries. It was a full bus, right. There were actually 35 people on board. Reporter now crews did move that broken down bus that was the cause for the delay and reopening the highwa

Ash youre right, the fog is something we have to keep our eye out for, seen aunt mile visibility in lot of spots. When it comes to the advisory, just looking at storm scan, isnt it nice to see it not have rain on it for a change . Not necessarily a clear sky yet. But this is the transition to get to that point. So while you are going to still find some clouds out there, still mild morning, running you have above average , and finally get in on some sunshine, past the fog, talk about the fog, it is pretty thick, ive seen hands full of very dense fog in some of the field cameras, live neighborhood network, so just expect that that could be a problem traveling dollars the garden state parkway, a.
