A professor of Bankruptcy Law at uc hastings says the company is focused on survival. It is fair for Governor Newsom to criticize this company and fair for him i think to criticize this plan, but i think its somewhat unrealistic to expect the bankruptcy process to fix all the problems the company has. The fire has now burned more than 54,000 acres, a steep increase from this morning when firefighters said the fire was 30,000 acres. Containment has fallen from 10 to just 5 . 94 structures have been destroyed and Officials Say another 80,000 structures are still threatened tonight. Also today authorities evacuated another 90,000 people from Sonoma County bringing the total number of people evacuated to 180,000. Heres a look at the evacuation zone.
