In lieu of World Environment Day on Saturday, efforts made by the authorities and corporators managing the garden are commendable. Bamboo railings constructed on the side of the synthetic red track are repurposed from wood used as stretchers to transport bodies to the cremation grounds. Usually, after the body is transferred to the pyre, these stretchers are broken and left to the side this is what they recycled.
