The bird was between two power lines and if it flapped in the wrong direction, it risked becoming electrocuted, so Eversource was brought into the rescue efforts.

KILLINGWORTH A bald eagle is “responding well” to treatment for lead toxicity at a local rehabilitation facility, officials said.
A Place Called Hope took in the eagle on Feb. 8 after state Environmental Conservation Officer Michael Curran found the bird with a bad beak injury.
The injury had been first seen on the bird in October, when photographer Jeffery Valun reported it. The rehabilitation facility said it was keeping an eye out for any reports or sightings, which finally came earlier this month.
