Delhi HC dismisses plea against AAP MLA Imran Hussain alleging hoarding of oxygen cylinders ANI | Updated: May 13, 2021 14:19 IST New Delhi [India], May 13 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed the plea against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Imran Hussain alleging hoarding of oxygen cylinders. A Division Bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli dismissed the petition and said that it is not inclined to proceed any further. The Court recorded amicus submission that he has done scrutiny of documents and it appears that he had taken ten cylinders on rent and got them refilled from a refiller on which invoices were raised.

A Division Bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Justice Rekha Palli has asked Hussain to file a reply on the petition and directed him to remain present on the next date of hearing. The court was hearing a petition filed by Vedansh Anand through advocate Amit Tiwari. In his plea, the petitioner has sought direction from the Delhi government to immediately take urgent steps in ensuring the fair and uninterrupted supply of medical oxygen in the NCT Delhi.

Delhi HC warns patient against raising false alarm regarding Oxygen shortage ANI | Updated: May 05, 2021 18:34 IST New Delhi [India], May 5 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Wednesday warned a patient against raising a false alarm regarding Oxygen shortage during the course of hearing a plea on issues arising due to the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases in the national capital. A Division Bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli warned a patient s counsel admitted in IBS Hospital that it will impose a fine if he raised a false alarm again. The Court said that such false alarms should not be raised as they disrupt the complete system. The patient told the Court that the hospital was running out of oxygen and therefore he raised the SOS alarm.
