IPOH: Seven men, including two that are still on the loose, will be charged at the Magistrate Court here for allegedly murdering a man whose body was found in a river at Pasir Puteh here.

IPOH: Stern action will be taken against those who damaged the equipment used by authorities to close “rat lanes” in areas here under an enhanced movement control order, says the Ipoh police.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the police are working with other agencies including the Army and the Malaysian Civil Defence Department (JPAM) at these locations.
“At Kampung Datuk Ahmad Said Tambahan, Jelapang Baru and Kampung Sungai Tapah, we have closed more than 10 rat lanes and about eight main entrances, ” he said, adding that both areas are under an EMCO
He said that with the Army s help, barbed wire has been used to block cars and other vehicles from going out and coming into these three locations.
