you could do it that way too. you can t lose them both. so, it makes it you don t have to run the board in the so-called blue wall with arizona if you get one of congressional districts. it s very close. we ll see how it plays out. that s why we have to watch. again, there are democrats saying we think we can get this one back. we ll see how that goes. we ve got a key race alert right now. two congressional districts in nebraska and maine. one electoral vote in each. right now the second congressional district in nebraska with 94% of the estimated in, biden has 52.7%, trump 45.3%. biden is leading by some 23,000 votes in that congressional district. in maine right now, 46% of the vote, trump is ahead by some 18,000 votes. 52% to 44.5%. 46% of the vote in that congressional district in maine is in. those are each, john, one electoral vote. so, let s change the math
fair. it does look like in terms of public opinion and how it changed last week with the public hearings, it did not change in favor of the democrats, we can pull up the latest impeachment poll numbers and shows that now as compared to what october, there s a change of plus 1.6% now 45.3% actually oppose impeachment, so they seem to agree with you. yeah, and i would just say looking at the numbers and as someone who used to look at the numbers after i held hearings and reported back to my principals on it, they are not good, the numbers that you mentioned, there s a very substantial swing in independents and i ve seen increase focus on the notion on why are we still dealing with this, why aren t we dealing with matters that math to the american people, we did oversight but we moved a lot of
debate focused on poverty, even though 45.3% of your country are in poverty. amy klobuchar has talked about poverty in the country. let s listen together about that she said here. democrats, we must take on child poverty. today 15 million children in america are living in poverty. there are children who fall asleep at their desk because they can t get a good night s sleep when they don t have a bed or a home. virginia democrats, we can do this. we can cut child poverty in half in ten years and end child poverty in a generation. are you hopeful 2020 is going to be different than 2016? i have to be honest about that. the numbers are wrong. there are 39 million children in
