They have achieved 5 gigabits per second (Gb/s) at Australia s 5G Innovation Centre, using commercial Telstra infrastructure and up-to-date mmWave hardware. They include the new X60 mobile modem and third-gen QTM535 antenna. Internet of Things (IoT), iOS, Wearable, Ticker  The maximum speed achieved by mmWave 5G stands at 4.2Gb/s. Or rather, it did: according to Qualcomm, Telstra and Ericsson, this record has been broken as a result of their latest joint project.
