Bob Saget's onscreen family on Full House honored the late actor on the anniversary of his death with a clip shared to Instagram Monday (January 9th). Saget passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65 in 2022. "It almost gets weirder as time goes on because I'm like, ‘Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard from Bob.' And I'm like, 'Oh,'" Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler on the show, said during a video call with the cast. Britney Spears' bombshell memoir, The Woman In Me, has now sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. (including hardcover, audiobooks, and ebooks.) "My book has officially sold over 2 million copies in the US!!! Thank you to all the fans who have supported me and my story. Love you All!!!" Spears said in a statement. The Woman In Me previously broke publishing records when it sold its first million copies within a week of its release in October. It's also a bestseller in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. An estimated 3 million copies of the book are currently in print around the world.
The nominations for the 2024 People's Choice Awards were announced yesterday, with both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting nods. She's nominated in five categories: Concert Tour Of The Year, Movie Of The Year, Social Celebrity Of The Year, Female Artist Of The Year, and Pop Artist Of The Year. Kelce, meanwhile, got his first-ever People's Choice nomination in the Athlete Of The Year category. Barbie leads the film nominations with 9, while Oppenheimer scored six. Only Murders in the Building leads TV with seven nods, followed by Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and The Last of Us with six. The first trailer for Back To Black, the highly-anticipated Amy Winehouse biopic coming later this year, was released yesterday. British actress Marisa Abela (Industry) stars as Winehouse in the film, which was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy, 50 Shades of Grey). The movie was made in cooperation with The Amy Winehouse Estate, and will feature many of her songs. The movie follows the singer's early years in London, her rise to fame, and the making of her iconic album Back To Black. It's also expected to touch on Winehouse's struggle with substance abuse, which ultimately led to her death from an accidental alcohol overdose in July of 2011 at the age of 27.
