Minister ariel henry announcing a short while ago that he will resign once a transitional president ial council has been created. It follows worldwide calls for his resignation. As violence plagues the caribbean nation. Us Secretary Of State Antony Blinken spent monday in jamaica, where he met with caribbean leaders for urgent talks about the nations violent gang violence. Henry has been unable to return to haiti because the violence closed its Main International airports. On monday, blinken announced an additional 100 million to finance the deployment of a Multinational Force to haiti, as well as 33 million in humanitarian aid. Its still not clear who will lead haiti out of the crisis, which has seen heavily armed gangs Burning Police stations attacking the main airport and rated two of the countrys biggest prisons.
