when this disaster happened. they missed shrimping all summer long and the fall shrimp season is supposed to begin in september but they ve accelerated it to begin tomorrow. some of the ships here behind me, may be trading some of their boom for fish nets. boats like these have been in a part of the vessels of opportunity program. they ve been skimming oil and searching for oil in the gulf of mexico. some of them may still be on guard tomorrow but a lot will be going out in the louisiana waters to look for shrimp for the first time since april 20th. so that is very good news, indeed, for this region that has been struggling to get back up on its feet. right. some sense of normalcy there. new developments about offshore drilling in the moratorium, what are you hearing about that? well the ap is reporting that white house is considering ending the more torium earlier than november 30th. that s good news for this region as well. about 2.5 billion dollars worth
