Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in the Malegaon blast case, can appear before the special court in Mumbai and get the warrant cancelled as per legal procedure.
Seven accused are currently facing trial in the blast case and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has named Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange as accused.
The court said that deciding the plea at this stage, when a few witnesses including investigating officers of the ATS and the NIA are yet to complete their depositions, would be premature.
Deposing as a witness before a special court on Thursday, the officer, who was an assistant inspector with the Nashik ATS in 2008, said the allegations were a conspiracy against him.
According to the statement, the witness on October 8, 2008 days after the blast in Malegaon on September 29 that year overheard a conversation between Thakur and Kalsangra.
