At the event, Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, and Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) VK Saxena presented commendation awards to 28 NDMC personnel.

Arjun Modhwadiya, the lone Congress leader who spoke on the resolution, said, “Due to India's importance in the world, PM Narendra Modi is bound to get respect. If tomorrow (CM ) Bhupendra Patel becomes the PM, he too will get similar respect.”
