The State of Illinois has expanded COVID vaccine eligibility to all residents 16 and older as of today (Monday), although the expansion does not include Chicago. Chicago s residents will have to wait one more week until April 19th to get the vaccine in the city, but, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Chicago residents are eligible to get themselves vaccinated at suburban vaccination sites.

FLORENCE, S.C. (WMBF) - MUSC Health Florence took 3,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to the Florence Center for a mass vaccination event on Wednesday.
While officials said the hospital fell short of its goal of providing more than 1,300 vaccines, the event was still significant for other reasons.
For the first time, people ages 16 and older were able to get their shot.
“We’ve seen a lot of FMU [Francis Marion University] students, which is great and other students and people ages 16 and older,” said Elizabeth Crowley, an MUSC Administration Fellow.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced Tuesday morning at Cleveland State University that all Ohioans aged 16 and older will be eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine on March 29.
DeWine, delivering remarks on the occasion of the opening of the mass vaccination site at CSU s Wolstein Center, said that the supply of vaccines from the federal government would be rising significantly by 3/29.
