A 36-year-old widow working for a BPO in Airoli lodged a complaint at Rabale MIDC police station on Thursday after being cheated of Rs 1.96 lakh by a gang of cyber fraudsters. The fraudsters posed as customs department staff and cyber crime officers and claiming that a parcel had arrived for her from Thailand and that it contains narcotics. They made her transfer money to prevent legal action.
