100 Days of Protest: The Farming Community Has Already Gained Many Larger Outcomes
While only two minor demands have been agreed to by the Central government so far, it would not be fair to assess the movement only on the basis of the demands put forward.

The historic farmersâ struggle at Delhiâs doorsteps and elsewhere in the country has completed more than 100 days from the time Samyukt Kisan Morcha launched it. It is turning out to be the largest and longest peaceful citizensâ protest anywhere in the world. As days stretch into months, there is often a certain impatience and frustration that one encounters from the public and even the media about the âlack of a breakthroughâ.
Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has said ongoing farmers' protest will continue till the three contentious agriculture laws are withdrawn. The farmer protests at Delhi borders have completed 100 days.

The farmers agitation against the three Central farm laws entered the 100th day on Saturday. Hundreds of farmers riding trolleys reached the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway from the Singhu border in the morning.
The farmers blocked the 135-km-long Western Peripheral Expressway in Kundli, also known as KMP Expressway. The blockage is slated from 11 am to 4 pm to mark 100 days of protest against the Centre s farm laws.
