Lenoir Man Jailed under $300K Bond on Drug Charges

62-year-old Larry Gene Hibbs of of S.E. Arrowood Street in Lenoir was arrested by Lenoir Police yesterday (May 18) on felony counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted by felon, conspiracy to traffick in meth, trafficking in opiates or heroin, and possession of a weapon of mass destruction. Hibbs was also charged with felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver heroin, cocaine, and schedule IV controlled substances.

37-year-old Jonathon Todd Nichols of Shewcraft Place in Lenoir was arrested Wednesday (May 5) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense along with misdemeanor counts of aid & abet larceny and possession of stolen goods or property. Nichols was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond. A District Court date was scheduled Wednesday.

33-year-old Justin Marqui Caldwell and 28-year-old Stephanie Nicole Laws, both of Kite Drive in Lenoir, were arrested Wednesday (May 5) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. They’re each charged with two felony counts of trafficking in methamphetamine. The North Carolina Judicial Branch website also shows each suspect being charged with felony manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park.
Wednesday at approximately 7:00 a.m. Patrol Deputies attempted to stop Justin Caldwell’s vehicle after a narcotics investigation that spanned several months. Chop Shop Activity Charge Filed Against Caldwell County Man

24-year-old Seth Lynn Hubner of Broadway Street in Lenoir was arrested Saturday (May 1) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with felony chop shop activity with Vehicle Identification Number or Vehicle Part Number change and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. Hubner is also charged with two counts of failure to appear. He was confined in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $13,000 secured bond. A District Court date is set for May 24.
