The Struts Join Forces With Paris Jackson For New Duet Low Key In Love | Elvis Duran and the Morning Show

Paris Jackson. Low Key In Love was written after a date in Los Angeles at 70 s retro bar, Good Times at Davey Wayne s,” The Struts singer Luke Spiller divulged in a statement. “I walked into the studio explaining that we needed the song to have the essence you feel when entering the bar and absorb the vibe. When we decided to explore the idea of a duet, I thought back to that night and remembered that paris played a brilliant acoustic set. Something inside was telling me that everything happened for a reason, so I decided to message her. I m convinced some things are just written in the stars. Bringing in paris just gave the song a whole new dimension and really brings the story to life. She is beautiful and brilliant. A star.”

The Struts has a new song out with some major star power.  Michael Jackson’s daughter  Paris Jackson is featured on the single “Low Key In Love.” The track is the band’s first since last year’s collab-heavy album “Strange Days.” Jackson and The Struts linked up a few years ago when she saw them open for  Motley Crue, which she thought was “incredible”. and when they asked her to hop on a track, it was an “immediate yes.” I m convinced some things are just written in the stars,” says frontman  Luke Spiller about the collab. “Bringing in Paris just gave the song a whole new dimension and really brings the story to life. She is beautiful and brilliant. A star.

Heartfelt Love Songs Prevail on Weekend Playlist

Although Valentine’s Day was more than two months ago, songs inspired by the highs and lows of love dominated this weekend’s new music lineup. Singer-songwriter Julia Michaels puts it plainly on “Love is Weird,” a post-breakup ballad that delicately captures the complexities of love. The newest single from her newly announced debut album, “Not in Chronological Order,” set to drop April 30, explores the aftermath of lost love. Captured best in the lines “It shows up and disappears / Love is strange for some / It ranges from making love to tears,” the song’s moody lyrics pair well with its orchestral backing.
