Fish Monkey signs Tharp to pro staff

Fish Monkey performance fishing gloves announced that Major League Fishing pro Randall Tharp has joined its pro staff. Tharp, the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup champion, has amassed more than $2 million during his career.

and president Tim Mossberg. Hes highly competitive, yet is willing to share his

Ott DeFoe had a flurry for the ages during the final period of last year s Bass Pro Tour event at Lake Fork/Lake Athens.

BassFan Senior Editor Ott DeFoe posted Top-12 finishes in four of the five Bass Pro Tour regular-season events in 2020 and ended up 2nd on the points list to Jordan Lee. The lone outlier was the Heavy Hitters Derby at the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, where he ended up 44th.
In practice, he visited the moving-water locale that was exploited by Skeet Reese, Zack Birge and Adrian Avena the respective 5th-, 6th- and 8th-place finishers. Somehow, he saw nothing there to lead him to believe that it would be productive.

Alton Jones has been spending quite a bit of time at Lake Palestine in preparation for next month s Redcrest Championship.

BassFan Senior Editor Veteran Lone Star State pros Alton Jones and Todd Faircloth are among a very few qualifiers for next month s Redcrest Championship who have any tournament experience at Lake Palestine near Tyler, Texas. Jones won a boat there one time and Faircloth recalls cashing a couple of checks in team events, but those derbies all took place prior to the dawn of the new millennium.
