First the cold air thats actually sliding throughout the northeast. Much cooler and dryer air mass making it feel almost uncomfortable throughout the new york city over toward pittsburgh and reaching as far south as cincinnati. But the bigger stories are going to be the Severe Weather and the potential of damaging weather with the possibility of hail, isolated tornadoes along with flash flooding. And theres a mixture thats happening. We have a surge of warm air coming off the gulf thats mixing with the jet stream and low pressure system adding to a cauldron of instability.
