From News Reports
WELLSVILLE Ardent Solutions and the Allegany County Early Childhood Development and Education Coalition announced it will partner with The Dolly Foundation to promote early literacy for Allegany County children.
Each month, children from birth to age 5 will have the thrill of receiving a free high-quality, age-appropriate book through the mail.
Since launching in 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has become the leading early childhood book gifting program in the world mailing more than 1.4 million books each month to registered children. Dolly envisioned creating a lifelong love of reading, inspiring them to dream. The impact of the program has been widely researched and results suggest positive increases in key early childhood literacy metrics. Allegany County will become the newest affiliate benefiting from this opportunity.
