Police & Fire: Punched over a parking job; school on fire again
PUNCHED: A 23-year-old Battle Creek woman was arrested after another woman, 39, said she punched her in the mouth during a dispute over jer parking job.
Battle Creek police were called to the parking lot at Salvation Army at 294 Highland Ave. at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. The victim told police the other woman had parked too close to her car, so she asked the other woman to move her vehicle. The other driver refused and began to yell at her. The victim said she was able to squeeze between the two cars and get into her own, but the other woman continued to yell at her, walked over, opened the door and punched the victim in the mouth before driving away.
