Students, parents looking forward to in person return in the fall

Come this school year, all Rhode Island schools will return to in person learning. ABC6 spoke with Barrington residents Joseph and Adam Roberts. Adam is a senior at Barrington High School and Joseph is a professor at Roger Williams University. Both prefer learning in school over learning through a screen. “Personally I get way more distracted at home than when I learn in school,” Adam said. “I’m a firm believer in active learning,” Joseph said. “I like getting students to have rich discussions and move about the classrooms from one side to another, through a computer that’s difficult.”
