Former Alabama point guard and current New Orleans Pelican Kira Lewis is showing his character in his first offseason as a professional basketball player. Lewis had a big week giving back to both his parents and his alma mater.
According to WAFF 48 s Carl Prather the first year pro surprised his parents buy purchasing their dream home. Lewis surprised his parents by posing as if they were viewing the home for the final time before breaking the news that he had indeed purchased it.
The Pelican was not finished there as according to Dr. E. Quinn Headen, Lewis gave $25,000 back to his alma mater Hazel Green High School.
