In whatever space Taylor Jarvis enters, she tries to advocate for those around her and make the University of Nebraska-Lincoln a better place for all.
A self-proclaimed intensely Type A, ready-to-rock person who does not sit for very long, Jarvis said she is looking forward to being the Association of Students of the University of Nebraskaâs internal vice president and to serve alongside President-elect Batool Ibrahim and external Vice President-elect Patrick Baker.Â
âKnowing the potential that I see in them right now,â Jarvis said, âIâm looking forward to what weâre able to accomplish and to spend more time with them.â
As President-elect Batool Ibrahim gets ready to take on her role of leading the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska, she said she is looking forward to serving the students who elected her.Â
After an uncontested election in which each Revitalize campaign candidate won their seat, Ibrahim said they will put students needs first.Â
This was a historical election as Ibrahim, a junior global studies and political science double major, will be the first Black ASUN president in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln s history.Â
âIt just makes me think about the mentors, the professors and the students on this campus that ⦠really set the stepping stones for me to follow,â Ibrahim said.Â
