I love Girl Scout cookies and I buy at least one box whenever I see them. As much as I really like their cookies, I LOVE the work that they do. I think they do so much in our community and they deserve the accolades that they receive.
That s why I was thrilled when I heard that 29 girls in our area earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award in 2019-20 member year. The Gold Award stands for excellence and leadership and is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

The standards required to earn this award are demanding but the rewards are many. The Gold Awards is the combination of a girl s demonstration of self-discipline, leadership ability, time management, creativity, and more.
