Mark Robert Williams Picture: Dorset Police A MAN has pleaded guilty after two women and a teenage girl sustained serious injuries after being tied up and gagged during two violent attacks in a Dorset town. Mark Robert Williams, aged 37 and of Cecil Road in Bournemouth, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday 29 March 2021 and admitted two counts of attempted murder, two counts of false imprisonment, committing grievous bodily harm with intent and sexual assault by penetration. He will be sentenced at the same court on Friday May 7. According to police, at 8.08pm on Thursday February 18 2021 Dorset Police received a report of a stabbing at an address in Bournemouth s Maxwell Road.
A family member who lives close by is understood to have raised the alarm when they failed to get through to the house about three miles from Gillingham in Dorset.
The emergency workers, who were masked, then drove the suspect to hospital while accompanied by police. The eye witness who shot the video said: I heard what I thought was an explosion and then saw that the cars had smashed into each other.

A 34-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a millionaire hotelier.
Dorset Police said Sir Richard Sutton, who owned a string of top hotels in London, died on Wednesday during an incident at a property near Gillingham.
A woman in her 60s, named in reports as Sir Richard’s wife, was seriously injured in the incident and was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where she remains in a critical condition.
It is believed both were stabbed, the force said.
