Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will flag-off eight trains, including the Jan Shatabdi Express which will run between Ahmedabad and Kevadia. Ahead of the launch, PM Modi shared photographs of the Jan Shatabdi Express.

Indian Railways in a bid to provide a boost to tourism and also better connectivity will launch a direct train service from Ahmedabad to Kevadiya today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the inaugural run today of the Ahmedabad-Kevadiya Jan Shatabdi Special Express. The train comprises of Vistadome, AC chair car Executive Class, AC chair car and Non-AC chair car coaches.

New Delhi, Jan 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off eight trains connecting different regions of the country with Kevadiya, home to the Statue of Unity dedicated to Vallabhbhai Patel, in Gujarat on Sunday via video-conferencing. One of the trains flagged off for Kevadia today originates at Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station. It is a pleasant coincidence that today is the birth anniversary of MGR. His life was dedicated to the service of the poor, PM Narendra Modi said.
