An East Donegal Township man has been charged with assault after pulling at an infant boy, leaving the child with fractures and bruises, according to Lancaster County District Attorney.
Erick Joel Padilla, 25, was charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child after tugging and pulling on the boyâs midsection during an argument with the childâs mother at around 1 a.m. on Jan. 10, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

LEESBURG Leesburg Night Market is returning Friday.
The market, sponsored by the Leesburg Center for the Arts, will make its return debut under the leadership of the new market manager, Joel Padilla, who has big plans for the upcoming season. Although it’s getting started back a little later than expected, Padilla is hoping to bring a unique experience for those last minute holiday shoppers.
“We really want to make it about the people in our community,” Padilla said. “A market is the staple of a community. We are bringing in more vendors with items that you can’t find anywhere else. Plus we want people to explore downtown Leesburg.”
