Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy adventure film that will be released in the near future. It’s based on the hit game of the same name, and its ensemble cast has gotten a lot of attention. The makers have now announced that work on the much-anticipated film has begun. The feature will be directed by Game Night breakout filmmakers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Delay and will be based on Wizards of the Coast’s well-known fantasy role-playing game.
Goldstein announced on his Twitter account that filming on the Dungeons & Dragons movie has finally begun. He posted a photo of the clapboard from the sets on social media. Fans got their first official look at the title and emblem, which features a dragon.

Dungeons & Dragons first became popular in 1974 and since then has amassed millions of players and fans worldwide. The hugely popular property has also influenced numerous writers, directors, game designers, and other creative professionals throughout its four decades.
The
Dungeons & Dragons movie is being co-produced and co-financed by Hasbro, eOne, and Paramount Pictures. eOne handles distribution in the UK and Canada, while Paramount distributes everywhere else. It will also be produced by Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Jeremy Latcham as part of his deal with eOne, Hasbro’s entertainment arm.
This marks the fourth time that the popular game will be adapted into the big screen, following Courtney Solomon’s 2000 live-action version, 2005’s telefilm sequel
