Emily Tinsman won the Miss Iowa title last year, and she is preparing to compete at Miss America 2021. The Miss America 2020 Competition, previously scheduled for December, was delayed due to the nation-wide impact of COVID-19. As a result, Tinsman will be the first Miss Iowa to serve for two years. Last Christmas, Carlyn Bradarich and Patrick Schiller had the winter wedding of their dreams. The former Miss Iowa pageant winner and ex-NFL player celebrated their special day in Aurora, IL, at the industrial-chic event space Company 251 and surrounded by those closest to them. The winter wedding featured tasteful nods to the season with crimson-colored flowers, bright twinkly trees, and gorgeous green decor that filled the venue with subtle Christmas cheer. The bride was dressed in a modern white gown with a single string of pearls strung around her neck, along with an elegant veil that flowed down her back. Patrick sported a custom-made suit with the date of their wedding (12/7/2019) inscribed on the inside, as well as a sleek white suit that he changed into after the ceremony to match his new bride. Complete with cupcakes and Champagne, along with the traditional milk and cookies, every detail of their wedding was tastefully thought out
