PAW PAW, Mich. â Nikki Clemons is being recognized for her Excellence in Education.
Patricia Bizokas, Nikkiâs nominator, says, âThe patience and care she exhibited with her students in this new environment was amazing; you can see how eager she was to make sure all her students were involved and doing the best they could!â
âI try to be silly and funny with them all the time,â says Clemons, âand I try to make learning fun and make them want to be there, so just hearing that is truly inspiring!â

TROY, Mich. â Casey Crawford is being recognized for her Excellence in Education.
Keegan Collins, Caseyâs nominator, says, âShe s an incredible, compassionate, caring and just thoughtful teacher for all of her students.â
âI think it s a job that consumes your life in a good way,â says Crawford. âI love seeing the small victories that they have, and even the tiniest thing is such a huge celebration.â
Casey has received a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery, and her class at Barnard Elementary will receive a $500 grant.

BROOKLYN, Mich. â Kristen Ellsworth is being recognized for her Excellence in Education.
âShe pours her heart and soul into her students each and every day!â says Annette Friday, Kristenâs nominator.
âI strive to have fun and make it fun for the kids,â says Kristen. âIt s tough work, but it s definitely the positives outweigh the struggles, and it is a lot of fun.â
Kristen has received a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery, and her class at Columbia Upper Elementary School will receive a $500 grant.
