Garden City police investigating after man, woman found dead in apparent murder-suicide

GARDEN CITY, Mich. – Police said a man and woman were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide early Wednesday afternoon in Garden City.
At about 12:29 p.m., authorities received a call about a man firing a gun at a woman in front of a home on Windsor Street near Henry Ruff Road. Responding officers found the two people outside of a home from apparent gunshot wounds. Police said a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting was found nearby.

A coroner s findings have uncovered harrowing details of a man who took his life after strangling his ex-partner with her own necklace and violently killing her dog.
The murder-suicide findings released this week by Coroner Mary-Anne Borrowdale relate to the deaths of Ngaire Ellen McKenzie, 61, and Murray James Daley, 58, at McKenzie s home in Jellicoe St, Waipukurau, on June 3, 2017.

Tuscaloosa police say around shift change, 27-year-old Demorius Mondreal Polke shot 33-year-old Sean Michael Barrett multiple times before turning the gun on himself.
Police say there is no reason to believe that there are any suspects at large, or any ongoing danger to the public. Any possible motives are under investigation and are not being released at this time.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WYFF/AP) - Officials with the Greenville County Sheriffâs Office are investigating after two adults were found dead inside a home.
Dispatchers received a 911 call around 2 p.m. Sunday about a woman who had been shot at a home along Oakdale Drive, deputies said.
When deputies arrived, they believed that at least one other person was still inside the home and SWAT was called in, according to the Greenville County Sheriffâs Office.
