The annual Mattoon Bagelfest Beautiful Baby Contest at the Cross County Mall returns on July 13 and 14, 2021! The theme this year is “Bagelfest or Bust.”
The contest is open to the first 101 children who register. Age groups will be split up over the two nights, after registration, so we know how many children are in each group. You will be contacted by email, two to three days after registration closes. Please be sure to check your spam file.
To participate: Your child(ren) must be newborn to 4 years old. Your child cannot be 5 on or before July 14, 2021. You must also live within the (over the air) listening area of 101.3 WMCI, 92.1 the Axe, Victory 103.9 or 104.3 the Party.

It seems everybody from Westchester County in New York has a DMX story.
Whether it was bumping into him shopping at Target in White Plains or running into him at a New Rochelle barbershop, locals remember the hip-hop icon as always out and about on his home turf.
“He would always stop for pictures with people and have regular conversations,” said A.J. Woodson, editor-in-chief of the news site Black Westchester.

DMX wouldn’t be surrounded by bodyguards when he was out in public and never put on a star exterior like some other entertainers, according to Woodson, himself a former MC with the underground hip-hop group JVC FORCE.
