Portraying an overzealous Patriots fan opposite Tom Brady in a 2012 “Funny or Die” video was a career highlight for Quincy actor Mike Mitchell. But as coach Bill Belichick would say, he’s onto “Tomorrow.”
Mitchell, a 2001 graduate of North Quincy High, co-stars with Chris Pratt in the alien-invasion thriller, “The Tomorrow War,” out July 2 on Amazon Prime. The two play time-traveling soldiers going 30 years into the future to erase a threat to all humanity.
Brady might have helped Mitchell gain fame with the “Funny or Die” bit, but Pratt, the star of the blockbuster franchises “Jurassic World” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” is now Mitchell’s ride-or-die.

To the Editor:
The Notos Group remains committed to Wareham, the economic development opportunity here and the proposed rezoning that would unlock this potential. We are grateful for the feedback we received during recent meetings with the Board of Selectmen and Planning Board, which we have incorporated into the rezoning article that will be considered by town meeting, and we look forward to continuing our dialog with the community at all levels.
Having been involved with two successful, job- and tax-producing projects on the South Shore Marina Bay and the Granite Links Golf Club we see the Wareham site as presenting a unique competitive advantage to the town in the coming, post-COVID battle for jobs and tax revenue. Our hope is that we can eventually become a partner with the town, as we have in other communities, on a project that suits the town’s needs.
