File photo.(DMN file photo) Four people are confirmed dead and two injured in two overnight car crashes in Arlington, police said. The second crash happened about 1:40 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of East Randol Mill Road, near AT&T Stadium. A car was speeding west when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car went over a curb and struck a tree, causing significant damage to the top and passenger side of the car, police said.

Police announced the arrest of Raymond Alexander Echols, 28, on Thursday. Court records show that he was booked into the Tarrant County jail April 22 on charges of murder and aggravated assault and has since been released on $125,000 bond. Officers were called the afternoon of Dec. 22 to the 1500 block of Summer Bay Circle, where witnesses reported hearing shots and seeing three men run away.
