Photography by Ed Reeves 1/15 Source: Gort Scott Gort Scott has designed an immersive set for a new exhibition on Iran at the V&A, based on the concept of presenting the work as a ‘City’ The 10-section exhibition explores 5,000 years of Iranian art, design and culture and brings together more than 300 objects from ancient, Islamic and contemporary Iran. Advertisement It is the UK’s first large exhibition in 90 years to present a narrative of Iran from 3000BC to the present day. It showcases a range of sculpture, ceramics and carpets to textiles, photography and film – works aiming to reflect the country’s historic culture as well as the abundance of myth, poetry and tradition that are central to Iranian identity.

Advertisement Designed for flexibility and with a mooring longer than typical, the barge is in two parts: the restaurant is located within the main 20m-long barge with a separate, smaller boat providing space for the kitchen.
