YORK, Maine — Local police made eight arrests last week and responded to a wide variety of calls, including four reports of suspicious activity, nine motor vehicle accidents involving property damage, three reports of a scam and three reports of domestic disturbance, according to a weekly incident log released Tuesday by the York Police Department.
The following information was included in the YPD weekly incident log for Monday, May 24, through Sunday, May 30:
— A report of fraud was made May 24 about 1 p.m. on Linscott Road.
— A traffic stop May 24 about 4:30 p.m. near U.S. Route 1 and Fieldstone Estates Road led to the summons of a 40-year-old resident of Durham, New Hampshire, for operating a vehicle without a license.
