He is transforted, and is treated at a local hospital. 29 years old, that suspect. And eight people killed. Initially, we thought it was six. And they did tell us, six people, all males were found dead on the scene. Two others were transported to the hospital. 11 other people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and there could be others, because they believe there were many other people who tried to get out of the way, and may have been able to do that successfully. I would say fortunately, there were only eight deaths. Blocks and blocks of bodies and bicycles. Some people thought this was a prank, because, of course, it is new york city. But they realized very quickly, that this was not a movie scene. This was real life. It was dangerous, and now we know it is confirmed as a terror attack. Make sure there are additional patrols out tonight, realize, of course, millions of americans will be out trick or treating tonight with their kids. That suspect according to witnesses earlier this afternoon around3 00, drove his truck into cyclists, runners, add walkers on a bike path this afternoon. At this point, they dont believe there are other threats, but because its halloween, theyre asking people, if you see something, say something. Both the mayor and the governor of new york state, they will come out of this stronger than ever. We will continue to track these developments, and keep you on top of it. A Montgomery County lawmaker is taking a new approach to change the law that may bees it impossible to buy beer and wine at most of the countys big Grocery Stores. And i hear the noise. When i look, i see a truck, a few more blocks down, going down the bike path. For some reason i went that way. Ive seen a couple of bodies laying right there in the bike path.
