We begin right now with the breaking news, weve had a very, very bad fire, it has been deadly, we know that two people have lost their lives. Lets get right out to the scene and jenny joyce. Jenny . Reporter good morning, karen, so the block where the fire started right here behind me, west toronto street, north philadelphia, still corded off. L and i officials here to take a look at the property, because it has structural damage after this fire. The deputy fire commissioner tells us that two people died here at a row home on the 1300 block of west toronto. Again, right off of broad. The fire started around midnight. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire onof the home. It was placed under control within about a half commissione, jesse wilson, says one of the victims was found dead inside a second victim was transported to temple hospital, and later died. Woman whose home backs up to the fire scene. She says she quickly noticed a lot of firetrucks, ambulances, and police, and then saw a lot of smoke. You can see the smoke. And that woman said she does not know anyone who lives on this block and didnt realize that two people had died. Officials tell us that the fire was contained to a single home. So Neighboring Properties were not affected. At this point, the Philadelphia Fire Department cant say whether or not there were working smoke detectors. Following another breaking story out of west philadelphia, three people including a pregnant woman, have been shot this happened shortly after 1 30 a. M. This morning 5200 block of webster street. Police say two women shot in the leg, man was struck in the back. All of them taken to penn Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition right now. Police are still searching for shooter. We had deadly shoot that happened outside of one of the high schools. Put the school on lockdown. Happened in mayfair, at lincoln high school, they put it on lockdown because there was shooting in the parking lot. There were two guys, who had been in the school for a basketball game. They started an argument, and started fight being. They were kicked outside. And the fight continued. One of them had a gun. Shot the other one. That suspect died. The other guy ran away. Over in Delaware County, the search is on this morning, for a trio of men wanted for robberies at gunpoint. Their victims, commuters who were just getting offer the trains.
