Heres fresh cheese or mozarella or parmesan, salt, and corp mix tush that was cooled off and give take mix. So consistency you want this dense. If you have rico. It. It a that is wet you want to drain it. Now we put it in pastery bag. On up the flower hold it on with think thumb. You see its on. I pipe this filling in here and like that ill show you how to close these in a moment. Very easy. You see we have them filled were not done you need to close them take where you cut fingers and gently give it a slight twist and squeeze and close the steam. Ill show you the batter. Heres equal parts cake flower and all Purpose Flower and corn starch. These Three Flowers give a great texture and crunchy consistency and lemon zest. Little parmesan again and here we go. Parsely. Pepper and some salt. So i mix dry ingredients like this and trick to good batter is not to over mix it here i have seltzer water or club sod soda, sparkling mip ral water. Mix this gently without beating it too intensely. Because once the water hits the flower it develops gluteens and the more energy you put in it the more gluteen that will not equal determined batter thats all ill mix it and then it will be ready. Its a little lumpy theyll work out. Now its rested in refrigerator for hour and ill mix. It stir until combined and thats consistency its like pancake patter thats what you want. On end down submerge them they need to be fully coated you drop them in and then they float. Notice they float. If you dont do this theyll drop and sink to the bottom and theyll stick to the grates of fry basket which you dont want. Now the flower color is coming through and these are looking beautiful i think theyre ready, lets pull them out and up and shake off the excess and put them on paper towels to absorb here theyre nice and crispy and beautiful. We hear about the concept of change sxloyn what that means. Its made up of pairs of people where you have a person that needs a kidney and they have a willing donor leak a spouse or loved one or Family Member who is not a good match for that person. They take the pairs of donors and recipient put them into a pool and use and match these people all over the country and thats how they build the change. I went into it having no awareness of where it was going except Ucla Medical Center and i only knew that because the blood work i had done to match me to this it gentleman. But the night of surgery i was recovering and my surgeon came to see me her name is nicole turgen we have a picture of us together and read me a text from his surgeon he asked to text her and she said he wants tou know hes father of two and he works full time and hes a volunteer softball coach and has two Young Children and hes been on dialysis for a couple years and then the last line of text was he wants tou know youre giving him his life back today. So, i always cry when i talk about that. But, this is why i did this and evenfy never meet him my life changed his life changed and hopefully maybe this will get people thinking about the possibility of becoming a living donor. It all most seems like the dentist has been tried and convicted at least in the court of Public Opinion especially on social immediate mike tweeted animals are not trophies cecil the lion and this one wrote he will be remembered for forever and he sparked a fair and the world should hang the man who killed him. And imagine if all the celebrities willing to tweet about cecil the lion were willing to do the same for black humans killed by cops. Im good. Lets jump right into. It theres been discussion on your radio show you saw the last tweet. A lot of concern over cecil the lion is owe over blown are people focusing too much on that and not enough on humans. Its heinous this lion was killed in the way i think the lion suffered and the lion was lured out knowing that it was illegal to take this lion out of protected lands. I think it is terrible things. But yes, i do think its a bit over blown. People are walking a round outside this Dentist Office in minnesota dressed up like the lion from madagascar. Theyre placing little lion ted by dr. Bears in front of his office. Theres a petition on the whitehouse web site that has reached well over 100,000 signatures meaning the president is going to have to respond. I think if people responded to human life in the same we they respond to the lion we would not be in the fix were in in this country. Now you talked about some of the back lash. Well talk further about the comparison between the two. Some of the back lash is calling for Walter Palmer to be extradited. Send him over knowing he faces harsh punishment if he goes. There should he be sent and is that part of the whole social media outrage. Well, look theres two sdim sgim bad wayians that helped him. And so its a serious, serious charge. There i think ft. People who helped him have been arrested and have been jailed and have to pay bail frankly i think he should face that type of justice and answer for himself. You mentioned comparison so black lives Matter Movement and cecil the Lion Movement universeially people are upset across racial lines why do you think theres so much back lash there. I think we still have a race problem in the country i i have to be frank about it i just wrote about this a few days ag ago. With you look at the fact that black men are 21 more times like hi to be shot and killed by police than their white counter parts and when you look at the fact that Justice Department says plaque people or more likely to face force when they deal with police than white or latinos we have a race problem in the country and i think that black hive is not seen as being as important as other peoples lives in this country and hopefully this comparison hopefully the things happening lately hopefully all of these things will allow us to really look at that in a cleareyed way and face it and come up with some solutions for that problem. You know i tell you its interesting. Africanamerican myself and others ive spoken to are equa equally angry about what happened with cecil the lion. Maybe it will on all eyes. What happens does he get extradited and we look closely at this, will the back lash continue. I think the back lash will continue i dont think he will be extradited i think what will happen hell end up paying a fine and i think he will end up facing some kind of punishment.
