Women buyers are increasingly choosing electric vehicles (EVs) in India, with one out of every four EVs sold being purchased by women. The ease of driving and ownership, as well as increasing environmental awareness, are driving this trend. Tata Motors and MG Motor India, the country's largest EV manufacturers, report that women account for 23-24% of their EV sales, compared to 11-12% for petrol and diesel cars.
