ELKINS — A Mill Creek woman who allegedly led police on a high-speed chase Tuesday afternoon is now facing additional felony charges.
Stevie Drew Fox, 33, who is currently incarcerated in the Tygarts Valley Regional Jail on cash-only bonds totaling $80,000, is now facing charges of fleeing in a vehicle while DUI (controlled substance) and grand larceny, in addition to a charge of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference. The bonds were set by Randolph County Magistrate Mike Dyer.
Corporal E.B. Carr of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for medical records at Davis Medical Center related to Tuesday’s incident. Based on the medical records, a drug screen of Fox was completed and indicated a positive result for amphetamine/methamphetamine, police said.
