This National Survey we did, we found parents are really stressed out, one in five, 10 out of 10. No surprise there. Whats shocking is they seem to be missing the signs of the stress in their kids. Most parents said their kids had low levels of stress. When we asked about signs of stress, things like crying more, anxious, worried, stomachache, headache, we found they actually 70 percent of them, more than 70 percent of the kids showed signs of stress in that way. Kids arent going to tell you their stress. Theyre going to show signs. It shows that parents are missing this. The best thing parents can do, spend time with your kids, no phone, no tv, no ipad. Now im watching a batch coming out of eastern pennsylvania, heading towards Warren County where its producing heavy amounts of rainfall. Flooding could be an issue shortly. We have a Flash Flood Warning in effect for Somerset County due to the cell that came through that area earlier but has pushed to the north and weakened a bit. Lets zoom in to a few locations. We can see out towards the western portion of new jersey, we have the heavy rainfall coming into Warren County. Looks like its not making Much Movement eastward. It wouldnt be surprised if we get some in the next 30 to 60 minutes. In the meantime, temperatures today were cooler than we saw recently. Weve been in the 90s over the last several days. Todays high, 87 in central park. This morning we started off with a warm 77. Right now were at 81 in the park. We have a south wind coming in at 17 miles an hour providing a little bit of a breeze. Areawide, were into the 80s, although were in the upper 70s towards monticello. Looks like throughout the northeast we have very warm we have 86 in boston. D. C. , 86. Were in the 80s in williamsport and pittsburgh. Detroit, 77. And dew points in the 60s and 70s across the northeast right into new england. A look at satellite and radar shows one kind of unstable area over our region. We have a few other areas just to our west. I think tomorrow were going to see the same type of weather we had today. Well have mostly cloudy skies and a couple of showers will break out west of new york city and some could be pretty strong, producing downpours. Then our focus will be out here.
