Vancouver-based sommelier Matthew Landry has joined The Wine Scholar Guild as its French programmes director.
As one of the leading wine certification programme providers in the world, The Wine Scholar Guild focuses on programmes on the wines of France, Italy and Spain for the professional development of wine industry members and committed students of wine.
To support the growth and expansion of the organisation, they have recently announced the addition of Matthew Landry as the new French programmes director.
Julien Camus, WSG president, said of the appointment: “We had over 125 highly qualified applicants for this position. Matthew stood out for his energy, creativity, wine savvy and passion for all things French. We are proud to now count him among our own.”
