CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Thursday is the first and biggest night of the NFL Draft, and though rain is likely, maybe Cleveland’s luck for big events will hold.
The Cavs parade in June 2016 was hot, but those skies were shining bright. The Republican National Convention that same year was also sunny and steamy, with 87 degrees as the average high temperature for the four-day period.
The NFL Draft is Cleveland’s big shining moment in the sun, one of the nation’s first marquee events since the COVID pandemic. It’s a chance for Clevelanders to celebrate the success of the Browns and show off our fair city. No night is bigger than the first picks on Thursday.
