Hyperion, the world's tallest tree, is bigger than both the Statue of Liberty and Big Ben. Our CA Parks editor, Ashley Harrell, made the trip to take a look. She doesn't recommend it - it’s impossible to tell from the ground which tree is the tallest.
The trek there, writes Harrell, "is not only a pain in the ass but also involves damaging the tree’s habitat, all for a negligible payoff."
