East London doctors and engineers have received recognition from the World Health Organisation (WHO). In 2020 they formed the UMoya Company, an operating social enterprise where their first commercial product was the OxERA, a device for patients who needed oxygen. The product is said to have played a crucial role during the Covid-19 pandemic.
