ALPENA — Northeast Michigan will have a white Christmas this year, with the potential for a dusting of snow today and Christmas Day.
Faith Frederickson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Gaylord, said it’s possible Alpena could see up to 1 inch of snow today or Friday. Snow depth in Alpena as of Tuesday was about 7 inches, according to the Weather Service.
