Waiting lists are long in some cases, but Bedford County residents who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are finding places to get their shots, local officials say â even if it means holding clinics outside of normal business hours.
The latest of these will be this weekend, where Bedford Family Health Center will hold a clinic on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bedford Middle School.
The vaccinations are only for those who fit into the Department of Healthâs Phase 1A of the rollout. Those wishing to receive the vaccine must have an appointment, and no walk-ins will be permitted.
